Bi 7.3 Upgrade from Bw2.1

Hi ,

I have a requirement like this...

Requirement:- Need to Upgrade SAP BW 2.1 to SAP BI 7.3.

As per the other posts i see :-  There are two steps of upgrade process  1)Upgrade from BW2.1 to Bw2.3

                                                                                                                                   2)Upgrade from 2.3 to Bw7.3

And  my question is Can i go for single step upgrade, or is that possible to migrade data from 2.1 to fresh BI 7.3 system.If any chance of doing please help.
