Hi Team,

While we are scheduling Webi reports , it was failing with the below error

" Database error: [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]Statement(s) could not be prepared.. (IES 10901) "

In design tool we have imported our Universe name. After importing successfully we have checked the connection " server is responding " .

Our network layer is ODBC , which was already configured in system32 with successful connection. After this we have check all in the integrity check  panel,   After this check we are facing parse object error with the same error. Could you please help us to resolve this issue.

Regards

Raghu

First thing, you need to to define 32bit and 64bit connection with the same on the server. Otherwise you won't be able to refresh the report on your browser because BO 4.0 server uses 64bit connections and client tools use 32bit.

Second, you need to check you SQL syntax in your objects. You might probably have problem with your SQL formulas inside the objects.

Hi Zahid,

1. We have already defined 32bit n 64bit connections , tests successfully.

2. Could you please suggest us how to check the SQL systex in the objects .

In the results window you get a list of objects that failed to be parsed ie.. Sheet1$ F4 etc.

Go to the object properties, right click and check the properties, there you can also singularily parse the objects.

To me it seems that you are trying to access an Excel data source through ODBC, check the supported platforms document for the version / sp level you are on that the connectivity is supported

Hi Raghu,

1. Check if the connection is working fine.  (Universe from File >Parameter > TEST the connection)

2. If you are using DSN, then check if the DSN connection to the ODBC data source is working fine.

Hi Kruthika,

Thanks for the quick response.

1. We have checked the connection "The server is responding "

2. In odbcad32 we have checked the system DSN connection CMC & AUDIT , both the testing connections are successive .

Is the report Running fine when you refresh report manually at the Infoview Portal without scheduling?

Check whether the Table Vaues and Column Values are populating correctly at the universe level.
