internal activity capacity requirements

Hi

we have an single internal activity called machining which requires 5 machine hours and 3 labour hours, but in internal activity  only the work center, total work and activity type can be maintained,  so how can i input the requirement of 5 machine hours and 3 labour hours for that single internal activity.

suppose if i give work 8 hours in work  field of internal activity ( 5 machine hours +3 labour Hours) how can work center determine the requirement of 5 machine hours and 3 labour hours

Please explain how can we maintain the requirement of two capacity catogories namely  Machine hours and labour hours in a single activity

Hi,

This is not possible in the standard system i feel. You may explore the option of using an activity element. In the activity element you can specify a different work center. For e.g. If you create an activity with work center for Labor hours create an activity element with work center for machine hours.

This should work for you. Test it in your system and revert.
