PI CCMS Configuration

Dear Experts,

I need to configure CCMS to trigger alerts for PI application specific errors. Since we don't have solution manager in our landscape, we wouldn't be able to use it as a central monitoring system. I'm thinking to configure CCMS in PI development, quality and production boxes by following the blog http://scn.sap.com/people/community.user/blog/2005/11/24/xi-configuring-ccms-monitoring-for-xi-part-....

But, since there's no central monitoring system, should I create the system group Exchange_Infrastructure for each box (Dev, QA and Prod) seperately? Please clarify.

You need to create system group separately for each system.

Hello Joe,

It has to be separate for D, Q & P.

Go through below link for more conceptual understanding of CCMS. Also there are few blogs available on SCN for step by step settings of CCMS.
