Pdf forms - Could not start Layout Designer

Hello masters,

I am having a trouble, i am trying to create pdf forms with SAP NETWEAVER 7.0 on a VM with Windows XP SP3, i have installed Adobe Livecycle Designer version 10.0 and now i am trying to open the "layout" tab in SAP NW but i am having this error :

Message no. FPUIFB086

Diagnosis

The forms design tool for developing the form layout could not be started; either it is not installed or there are errors in the installation.

Procedure

Make sure that you have the forms design tool installed on your desktop (the tool is part of the SAPGUI installation).

Refer also to SAP Note 1121176.

I went to this SAP Note, and the only thing they explain is how to upgrade to Livecycle version 8.0.
Am I missing something?

Hi Max,

which  "Adobe Livecycle Designer" have you installed? the SAP-Version or the standalone-version?

I had the wrong one installed. I had the stand-alone installed.

Hi Max,

Please try to reinstall the ADLC in your system.

Hope it is not properly Installed
