Hi,
We are running ECC6.0EHP4 and implemented SAP EIC last year. Recently we have noticed it is not possible to open certain attachements ( mostly PDF ) in emails in the the EIC Inbox.
Data Flow:
1) Email sent to our HRSSC
2) Arrives in the Microsoft Exchange Server, which then sends a copy to SAP.
3) SAP then pushes the email out to the EIC Inbox.
I have checked relative problem emails in SOST and can view the attachement. When trying to open the attachement via the EIC inbox however fails.
Is this a common problem?
Has anyone come across this issue?
Any suggestions?
Any help would be much appreciated.

We have 10+ ERP Employee Interaction Center customers and not having this issue at any of them.
There are multiple OSS Notes on this topic including 1723692 but I assume you already checked that before raising this issue here so would recommend if so to put in a customer message.

I have checked the OSS Note (1723692) you have suggested and can confirm that we are up to date in regards to the service packs, i.e.

Furthermore he issue itself is not that a white box appears when trying to open the attachment but that the attachment opens up in an unreadable format (I should have mentioned this in my first post 🙂 )
I will take your advice and raise a SAP Message.
