When creating RFC Destinations and Users for the Comm Channels in an RFC or IDoc Scenario...
Is it better to use a Dialogue or Service User...
My understanding it that you should use a service user for thhe following reasons.
1: Service users do not expire
2: Service users do not have gui logon and hence cannot be used for anything other than the said scenarios...
Am I right in my assessment or is there something to add/take away?
Hi Ricardo,
yes you are right.....in RFC conn, use service user and not dialog user.....if you use a dialog user, it cant access background services of connecting to some other systems because dialog users are limited to screens..so in making RFC conn, dialog users are not used.
