Service Desk on Solman

Good Afternoon,

I am studying on the part of using the Service Desk Solution Manager as a tool. And I would like to take some questions, in the environment I'm using is version:

SAP_BASIS 701 0007
SAP_ABA 701 0007
PI_BASIS 701 0007

You advise some kind of update? Mainly aimed at better utilization of the solution. Can I lose some functionality?

Another thing, terial me some document to indicate related deploying Service Desk? I'm leading the documents:

Hi,

you are using an up-to-date solman version right now. However, support package stack 8 will be released soon. As far as I remember my last time at SAP they announced it as feature pack 2 (feature pack 1 was supp.package 5) which will introduce some new functionalities.
