Hi,
We upped our SP to 10, and have found that the fields on the User Access tab when sent to approver is greyed out.
Please let me know what I am missing here, does this require auth or is this config?
Second issue is when I use the model user functionality the roles are blanket out and I get an error ON STEP 2 OF THE PROCESS :
>> Roles that are coming as disabled are not being maintained in ERM or for which USER don’t have the connector authorization
Any ideas guys?
Regards, Melvin
Dear Melvin,
For the first issue, I forgot to ask you the settings at the stage level.
It is 'Change Request Det' : If this is 'checked' then you will see all the field as editable which were meant to be editable. But if this is 'unchecked' then the approver screen at that stage would be grayed out. Just check that setting, i think it would be unchecked.
Once you make it checked then generate the version and activate it. Then then create a new request and then open it for approval, then this would be editable.
Look at the below screen.
Enjoy:)

Nidhi Mahajan.

Dear Melvin,
Is it a approved request or rejected request when you open it from approve? Did you get to see submit button?
This error message comes if roles are not available in ERM. All the roles which are availadle in repository but not in ERM will be grayed out. You have to import the roles to perform any operation on it. You can import roless using mass Import from ERM.

Can you please check that you have an entry in GRACROLE table for these roles. If yes then it means roles are inported correctly. Then you check in GRACRLCONN table for ac_ref_role_id. If this is filled then it means sync job is run properly for these roles. If both the entries are avilale for these unselectable roles then there would be some other problem.
We have the same issue as above. I have an open call with SAP
and will give you guys feedback once we get it resolved.
I have an issue on the existing assignment tab on the initial
screen of the request. When business want to remove roles from a user using
this functionality the roles are also greyed out.
This seems to be related issue.
Thanks for the feedback.
Thank you and I appologize for the delay response. Please implement
note
1783386 for your issue. The single roles are derive roles which
are the
issue. Though the description of the note is not exactly as
for model user request, it fixed the issue for other customer as they
reported the same
issue. Please implement and test the issue again
Thanks Melvin
Hi
We are facing the same as your second issue. When creating a request and selecting Existing Assignment, the Role cannot be selected for deletion, message comes up
"Roles that are coming as disabled are not being maintained in ERM or for which USER don’t have the connector authorization"
Can someone explain....

Mustafa

Hi Nidhi
I have Run Job "GRAC_ROLEREP_ROLE_SYNC" with incremental and did not work.
Then I ran Full Sync and still not working.
After that I also tried "REPOSITORY OBJECT SYCN" under SYNC Jobs in SPRO.
Still no luck.
It looks like I can only choose Roles with Type "Single Role". Other Roles "Derived Role" & "Role" is greyed out and doesn't allow to choose from an Access Request to Remove from Existing Assignment.
I am on SP10, it used to be fine before.

Mustafa
