How to avoid updating same bin in WM2 view of the multiple materials

I have a situation, where client is demanding that system should automatically show a warning/error message while updating a material's WM2 view with a bin which already maintained as the fixed bin for some other material. We are using fixed bin strategy. Is there any standard solution available for this requirement?

I doubt availiability of such check in standard ,  you can try custom checks  for same.

Hi,

as Jinoy wrote, there is not standard check when entering this. There is however a transaction LX29 (fixed bin information list), where you can see if bins where assigned to several materials.

Yes, I had shown that report to my client, but as per them, it seems to be an operational workaround for the requirement. So I have to see if any user exit while updating the the material master for automatic check.
