Thanks Amarnath,

We have already looked into the note : 1815219 , but that didn't help us resolve our issue.

When we are trying to run our Web Disptacher on more than one Application servers we are getting this issues. We are currently on SPM 3.0 SP2.

Hi Manjunath,

Have you looked at this section.

3.5.1 Configure Persistence Service Connection

The BI Data Service uses the persistence service to persist configuration data for various features. In the NetWeaver platform, it uses the destination service to define the connection to the persistence service.

Procedure

1. Go to the destination service config page:

[http://<Java Server host>:<Java Server port>/nwa]

Configuration Destinations

. Add a destination called BUI_PERSISTENCE_<namespace> with destination type HTTP.

2. Under

Connection, you need to specify the persistence service URL: http://<ABAP Server host>:<ABAP Server port>/sap/poa/sbc/ps/<namespace>

.

3. Log on using the service user. This user needs to have a role assigned that allows them to read all alerts, navigation dimensions, and user-defined measures available in the system.

4. Ping the destination to ensure that a HTTP response code of 404 is returned. Anything else such as 401 or 403 suggests that the user is not authorized and hence the authorizations should be checked. The desired message is as follows:

Received HTTP response 404.

Note

For SAP BusinessObjects Spend Performance Management, the destination is BUI_PERSISTENCE_SPM.

For SAP BusinessObjects Spend Performance Management, the URL is http://<host>:<port>/sap/poa/sbc/ps/SPM.

Thank you

Best regards,

Amarnath

Hi Manjunath,

Which is the patch level you are using for SPM 3.0 UI. After adding the SPM3.0 SP2 we didn't get this error. Please check the patch level once. It also happens that though the UI shows this error it still got saved the objects.

Thank you

Best regards,
