Import of FTPs certificate

Hi Experts,

I am working on Proxy -> SAP PI 7.3 Dual Stack -> File ( FTPs). The FTP server was shared and I imported it under the following navigation.

NWA -> Configuration -> Security -> Certificated and Keys. Under Key Storage Tab -> Content -> Trusted CAs.

Imported Entries -> Entry Type as PKCS#12, Enter the certificate path and Password to decrypt the file.

After posting the entry, it shows error with status as " Entry as Expired".Please refer to the screenshot of the certificate.

The referred blog is http://scn.sap.com/community/pi-and-soa-middleware/blog/2013/01/06/how-to-load-keys-and-certificates...

I have following querries.

1.I want to make sure that this certificate has chain or not ?

2.While importing , do I have to include Entry type as X.509 ?

3.In the certificate , I can see that the validity period is over. So this could also be an issue?

4.Please suggest some inputs like what all things I have asked from the FTP server details?

Regards

Alice

Hi Rebecca,

Yes, at first place you should ask the 3rd party to provide a certificate within the validity date.

Your screenshot shows the certificate is expired after 2012.
