CRM mobile sales issue - 'Exception occured due to http communication failure'

Hi,

I am using SAP CRM mobile Sales on iPad and when I subscribed to application from device, I got error 'Exception occured due to http communication failure' in inbound queues(SMQ2) of Netweaver mobile server.

I checked for any connectivity issue between SUP and DOE and seems It is fine. I did connection test in SCC, run testEndpoint command to test package access and SUP port is also open(did telnet to check). Could not figure out what might be the issue.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Narasimha

Hi,

I found following log error in domail log.

2013-02-04 01:23:11.660 Subsystem=Error,Application ID=,Application Connection ID=,User=,Correlation ID=,Package=,MBO=,Operation=execute,Thread ID=252,Node ID=xxxxxxxx,Error=DOE-C responding to DOE with error: 413, Request Entity Too Large

2013-02-04 01:23:11.646 Subsystem=Error,Application ID=,Application Connection ID=,User=,Correlation ID=,Package=,MBO=,Operation=execute,Thread ID=252,Node ID=xxxxxxxx,Error=Subscription ID: ba2302a4ca65430fb6e73f7274bddfdb is now in a packet-dropped state. The DOE-C will no longer push messages to this subscription.

2013-02-04 01:23:11.576 Subsystem=Error,Application ID=,Application Connection ID=,User=,Correlation ID=,Package=,MBO=,Operation=execute,Thread ID=252,Node ID=xxxxxxxx,Error={"length":12288,"val":"Detected a packet-dropped candidate message - size 54,369,699, maximum 8,048,576\nxml_audit_payload : '<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"utf-8\"?><soap-env:Envelope xmlns:soap-env=\"http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/\"><soap-env:Header><SubscriptionReference xmlns=\"http://www.sybase.com/sup/ds/doe/ws-eventing\">ba2302a4ca65430fb6e73f7274bddfdb</SubscriptionReference></soap-env:Header><soap-env:Body><doe:InstPushNotif_MAS_PARTNER_V9G_2NL xmlns:doe=\"urn:sap-com:document:sap:doe\"><SER_ACK_MSG_ID>6</SER_ACK_MSG_ID><SER_MSG_ID>544</SER_MSG_ID><MSG_SIZE>90240727</MSG_SIZE><INSTANCE_TYPE>B</INSTANCE_TYPE><doe:PAYLOAD><MAS_PARTNER_V9G_2NL> ...

So it seemed the problem was with packet drop size. So I updated that in SCC to 100 MB and re subscribed from device to check. This time queue got cleared, but data did not downloaded fully to device. After a point application automatically exits again and again leaving some pending items in SCC.

Please help.

Thanks
