Purchase Order Release

Hi Experts,

In one of the purchase order, there was an increase in the quantity,but after saving it ,it did not asked for the release strategy, however it should have asked.

Can u brief me about the possibilities on why it happened? and what may be the problem??

Hi,

Your question is after release of PO, you are increaing the quantity and saving it. If it is so then the reason is in the release strategy configuration, the release indicater might have been set as

2 - Changeable, no new determination of strategy .

Hence it is not triggering re release.

Hi Naga,

First of all, I quoted wrong above, I am trying to chnge the net price and not the quantity....Secondly,I have checked the configuration and the indicator is 6.

So can there be any other possibility, why it is not triggering the workflow???

Hi Nishant,

- Did the release strategy work when the PO was originally created ?

- Have any other Data of the PO been changed in addition to the higher Net Price ? (does it still match the Classification parameters to be eligible for this Release Strategy ?)
