solution manager required for ehp6 ECC 6.0

Hi

I have a query...!!

if we have to install ECC6 EHp6 at bkend and n/w 7.3 at front end on a fresh system, according to note number 1566412 -( Enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0:Required SWC) and master guide , i came to know that you require at least one of the following versions of SAP Solution Manager.

SAP Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1, SPS23 or higher , or

SAP Solution Manager 7.1, SPS01 or higher

Is it so?

Our solution manager is EHp1 for solution manager 7.0 SP 6.

Do we need to upgrade our solution manager?

Hi,

   Are you going to directly install ERP with EHP6?

If yes, then you dont need solman to downlaod the softwares, you can manually download the softwares from Service Market Place.

If you are upgrading to ERP6.0 with EHP6 , the you need a solman with SAP Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1 (SP23 or higher). Then you need to upgrade your solution manager 🙂
