Printer issue in sp01

Dear All,

I have created  a local printer LP01 in which we can able to take printer ..

When we give print spool and output request are creating then i cant able to get print....

I checked the log

	SAP spool error log
	=====================

Print request processing log

The host spool is reporting error log

Message from host spool:

  /usr/bin/lpr: The printer or class was not found.

End of message

Command used: cd /usr/sap/KRD/DVEBMGS00/data; /usr/bin/lpr -P__DEFAULT -J000gaeen.KRD -r -h -#1 000gaeen.KRD 2>

Errors occurred processing this print request

Error during print request output. l_rc = 1

There may be no printout

Hi,

printers are defined with yast2, where driver and access protocol are specified. The autodetection usually operates quite successful for locale printers. Network printers are a bit more complicated.

After a successful test print from yast2, replace the __DEFAULT with the correct printer name, which can be shown with lpstat -a..
