Hello,

51031678_1 | ORACLE RDBMS 10.2 Windows 1 of 5 |
while running sapserver.cmd its pop is coming and immediatey disappaering and even itried run as adminsitrator also same thing happen
I am trying to install direct setup also its shwoing ou.exe stopped working.
any one please suggest me how to proceed further.
Thanks
Sometimes problems like this are due the TEMP/TMP environment variable containing spaces (i.e. in the username part), try to manually set the GLOBAL (via Control Panel - System - Environment) TEMP (and TMP for a good measure) to something like "C:\TEMP, and create the directory beforehand.
Then try to rerun the installer
Hope it helps
Daniele

Well Oracle 11.2 would absolutely be a better choice for Server 2008 r2. Is there any compelling reason for you to go with Oracle 10.2 ? If not try the newer release, as it is supported also per PAM
Try to check your antivirus/firewall settings. Maybe they can block some activity.

Roman

Hi,
Go to the path where RUNINSTALLER is available.
and try to execute like runInstaller -ignoreSysPrereqs
Or
Open D:\Installables\SAP NetWeaver CE\Extracted Netweaver CE\New folder\51031678\OFS334AMD64\install\oraparam.ini file.
Add the entry 5.1 in the certified version place.
If the first option is not working, add the oraparam.ini file . I will change and give you.
Thanks and Regards,
Vimal

Okay. Then it seems that some other programs is blocking your oracle installation.
Have you disabled firewall??
I have a doubt here. Why are you installing oracle 10.2 which support is going to end very soon..
Since it is fresh installation , you can install the latest oracle 11.2.0.2 or 11.2.0.3 .
Hi,
Have you downloaded the rest of 4 DVD's and extracted ?
Thanks and Regards,
Vimal
