Issue in quotation

Hi,

My client has to create quotations for a new material (which is yet to be developed) based on the end customers requirement.Only when the quotation is okay with the end customer a sales order is created.

So for preparing the quotation, the pricing elements should be only the cost for manufacturing the material and a certain profit percentage. For example:

Cost of manufacturing: 90

Profit:                         10

Price of the material:    100

so if this 100 is okay with the end customer then a sales order will be created for material with price 100.how can this scenario be mapped.

Hi,

You can create new quotation document in VOV8 by copying the standard QT

create new pricing procedure with VPRS and PR00 ( either you can you same or customize ) in V/06 and V/08

VPRS will get the material price from Material master

PR00 will be 10% profit on  VPRS

You can send the quotation to customer via mail or print out

this is  Output configuration

once it is accepted by end customer, you can create the sales order

create status profile for quotation acceptance and rejection codes and add this profile in VOV8 for your quotation type

status profiles can be done OIBS

Hi Uday,

In your sales order doc type property you can set  B   With reference to a quotation, in reference mandatory field.

Create sale order with reference to this quotation. You can mqke this reference mandatory in sale order setting in VOV8. You need to maintain copy control too for sales document to sales document too. Search in google how to maintain copy control if you don't know. Please dont ask basic questions. Do some efforts at your end too.
