SPP 4.5 running on Windows XP SP3 it's not recording any step

Hi,

I need help from you!.

I'm using SPP 4.5 on win XP sp3 but it won't record any step. I tried to record from the windows desktop, from a web app on internet explorer 8 and from SAP logon interface and nothing. I previously tried with SPP 4.4 and also didn't work that's why we upgraded to 4.5 hoping this could resolve the issue, but that's not the case. On the other hand, we installed SPP on a Win7 PC and it works just fine so we're having trouble on WinXP.

Some facts that I'm attaching so you can picture the whole scene:

• We created an OSS message but we still can figure this out.
• Every PC in the office is connected to the same network, therefore every machine has the same antivirus policies (I bring this out because we were told that it might be some antivirus exception)
• According to the IT department my user has admin privileges on the WinXP machine (I bring this out because this was another thing that we were told to check)

If you have any clues of what may be causing SPP not record steps on WinXP it would be very useful.

that would need to read the log files for frontend trace.

suggest you to create SAP message on component xx-part-anc for checking.
