Sapconsole Standalone 7.30 - installer does nothing

Hi all,

I just tried to install Standalone Sapconsole 7.30 over an existing install of 7.10 (on Windows Server 2003 32-bit).

That didn't do anything.

Then I performed 'uninstall' from the 7.30 installer, and it uninstalled all sorts of stuff sapconsole related, but this left me in a position where I can neither install 7.10 again, nor 7.30 (sapsetup keeps detecting that 7.10 is installed, but I can't convince it to install 7.30, and uninstalling does nothing (there is nothing to uninstall)).

Does anyone know how we can force a reinstallation or repair?

thanks

Rob

(or know whether it's possible to manually remove everything so that sapsetup knows to do a full reinstall)

Hello Rob.

Have you tried a 3rd party tool such as ccleaner?

Anyway, CCleaner does not find any relevant registry values and it's not possible to uninstall the program since it's not in the installed programs list.

There must be some stray references in the nwsapsetup folder.

Anyway, I solved it I guess (there's an apparently undocumented commandline switch /force /once which forces a full reinstall)
