Products not updating in MDM Publisher

Hello,

I am using MDM publisher for the creation of product catalogs.

One of my users has somehow locked some of the family nodes so that we cannot update the content of the node e.g. add new products.

We have tried everything to make the node live again but to no avail.

The nodes in question have a blue pin symbol through the node.

If anyone can please help to remove this blue pin and make the node live again I would be most grateful.

I have answered my own question!

It looks like the catalog was created as a recordset catalog from the start. So the records in the nodes are fixed and will not automatically update as in a family publication.

My follow up question is does anyone know if it is possible to convert a recordset node into a "live" node that can update iteself?
