Struck in patch update on EHP6

Hi Gurus,

I am doing stack update on ERP 6.0 EHP6 from 2 to 5 and i got struck in import_proper phase.

It is not giving error but am unable to find updated logs in tmp and log directories more 24 hours. Work process is in Hold status and i observed that DB01 having 2 locks with one hold status and another is on wait status.

I am thinking to stop work process and restart spam again. but is it good way to do in Import_proper phase? please advise me further.

Hello

Please check the files present in the tmp directory present in the transport directory.

Also check the dumps in ST22 and Background jobs which are active.

Hi All,

This issue got resolved by applying oracle bundle patch 13.

1. Cancel work process

2. Stop SAP

3. Stop DB

4. Apply latest Opatch and Bundle Patch (please refer readme file)

5. Continue Patch

Dear Venkat,

can i know your stack update on ERP 6.0 EHP6 is on  ides or non ides ?

because we cant upgrade patches for Ides version , its for demo purpose only so we cant upgrade stacks in ides version..
