Prevent warning VV083 from popping up

Hi,

I know that the following message is related to a missing avialability check control in material master: "Document ... / ... has no checking group (material master - plant data)".

But what if I am actually selling a non-stock material through, let's say, third-party (direct) delivery ?

Having here such a check makes no sense and I am not willing to change the customizing of NLAG material type.

Any hint how to avoid this message ?

Just for the sake of our mutual knowledge here is my feedback.

I solved my issue by setting up all customizing (item types, requirements class, etc.) dedicated to non-stock, no individual ID, third-party sale materials.

A little bit complex but now at least the goal is achieved.

The said error message (VV083) is coded in Program FV45VF0B_BESTAND_BEDARF_ABGLEI.  May be with the help of ABAPer, you can change the logic to suit your requirement.

Please note that the message I see is just a warning and not an error as you qualify it in your message.

Ideally I would like to find a workaround rather that a likely program change.
