SAP DUET Installation

Hi Experts,

Need you help with some questions.

I was asked to install a DUET test system and only have 2 systems ( a Sharepoint 10 and an ERP 6.0 )

Can I have the SLC installed on the ERP that I have? I am searching for this and can see nothing about it.

Hi Jose,

You can use the ERP and install the Duet Enterprise add-on into it, but the ERP system needs to meet the requirements for Duet Enterprise - mainly it needs to be SAP NetWeaver 7.02.

Please check the Product Availability Matrix (PAM) for more details: http://service.sap.com/pam

Note: The PAM lists the minimum Support Package Levels. I recommend to install the highest-available SPs for Duet Enterprise and SAP NetWeaver Gateway.

Thank you for your fast reply, it was very helpful.

I do have another question.

Can i install the Service Consumption Layer, ERP 6.0, Netweaver Gateway 2.0 all of this on my Server SAP NetWeaver 7.02 ?

It is just for test purpose to see if the company wants it.

Would it be possible?

Hi Jose,

Yes, you can install all of them into one NetWeaver 7.02. I am not familiar with the exact requirements for ERP 6.0. Please check the PAM.

As for Duet Enterprise you will need at a minimum SP8 of NetWeaver 7.02. Also please install the latest available Support Packages for Duet Enterprise and SAP NetWeaver Gateway.
