Hello Experts

We are having the setup as given below . We are having SAP SRM,PI,Portal, sourcing and MDM in our data center. Our customer also has their own legacy and   oracle ERP systems. We need to do certain data transfer from their DC to our DC on regular basis. I heard that we can use sFTP shared folder however I am not sure. Can anyone suggest any secure way to do it?

Thanks

Atul

Good Day

1 - If the data is residing at the file system level (considering that the whole set up is on a Unix system) then I suggest you to compress the files using a good compression method (Eg: bzip) and schedule a crontab job to transfer data between sites.

2 - Another option is to do an NFS mount of the FS to another machine in the your DC on the same network.

For both the options : You need to establish a connection between these two sites.

This is most likely a question to be answered by the OS specialists and they could provide you more options. So suggest you to head that way.

Cheers
