Hi All:

I have 2 questions here

1) Is there any way the security objects can be transported across the landscape in HANA ?

2) Is there any sql script for creating analytic privileges ?

Hi there,

if by "security objects" you refer to roles, privilege assignments and user accounts the answer to question 1) is "no". These cannot be transported with HANA on-board tools.

You can however, employ the SAP identity management to handle these set ups across the landscape.

With the SPS5 and the XS development environment however, you can create deployable role-descriptions that can be roled out to other systems.

For the analytic privileges, there's no practical way to create them without the UI.

But in turn, these can be transported 🙂
