Small question. Can we have a planning area initialized for more than one version at the same time?

yeah you can have more than one version initialized at the same time
and it is quite common in DP particularly if you want to use different versions for simulations and to keep data from different groups separate or to copy from one version to another to manipulate data
SNP/ PPDS is a slightly different.
Firstly, though you can have different versions for simulation, 000 is the active version
a lot of masterdata that is used in SNP/PPDS is version dependant too
there are also a few details about the Planning version setting that can used in interactive planning (such as time zone)
