Backend Operation Proxy (BOP) with ID 'ZCL_XXXXX_BOP' does not exist

Hi,

We have moved our development from Dev to Quality.

All requests have been imported successfully.

The BOPs also exist in the quality system.

But we do not see an entry maintained in table /IWFND/D_BOPR.

That results in an error during execution.

Any suggestions as to how to rectify this?

As i am aware this table is updated automatically when BOP is created.

Hi Meghna,

I just ran a test in my system and I do see that the table entry (as well as the three classes) were added to the transport request. I am not sure what went wrong in your system.

You might want to try to just transport the table entry or alternatively try to re-run the BOP generator and make sure you provide a package and a transport. As for the transport I believe you need to be the owner of the transport.

If this doesn't help then please open support ticket.

Also, please start familiarizing yourself with the new development approach via the OData Channel and the new Service Builder. All new development should follow this new development approach. You can find more information here:

Thanks ALexander,

I recreated the BOP, and the table entries came into my request.

I am not sure what went wrong for the 1st time.

And yes the new Odata channel approach with the new service builder, is a much faster development technique.
