Hi All,

While importing the Idoc under impoted objects from ECC HR system. i m not able to find any idocs. as after entering the credential for the ECC system the list displayed is not not showing any iDoc or any RFC. i.e the list is empty.

Checked the type 3 RFC connection from pi to ecc system - it is working fine.

request you to help.

regards,

aditi

HI,

The issue is resolved now.

On the import screen if we wait for few seconds , then another tab opens 'Component Hierarcy'.

From there we are able to import Idocs.

Hi Aditi,

Check if the parameter com.sap.aii.ib.client.delayload is set to true in exchange profile under integration builder, if set to true then follow below instructions mentioned in the below note.

When the RFC and IDoc node is expanded from the "Objects" tab, the RFCs and IDocs are not listed immediately. Only upon entering a search criteria on the "Find" area, the search for RFC or IDOC will be performed based on whichever node is selected. This is primarily to reduce the number of objects fetched on the client side.

Note 1420787 - RFC Import Wizard hangs during import of RFCs

Hello Aditi,

It seems that the user which you are using may not have sufficient authorization to import IDocs from SAP ECC.

Cross check below thread again.

Importing IDocs and RFCs

For time being, can you use PISUPER user ID instead of your user ID. *.Its not recommended.

Hope it helps.!

Did you checked whether the user used has an S_RFC role assigned ?

Hi,

I am using different user for loggin to the PI system i.e . repository(PI login) and different one for importing IDoc structure from ECC system(ECC login).

User in the ECC system, which is used for importing the IDoc has the required authorizations as mentioned in the help document. i.e. S_RFC and S_DEVELOP.

Should we also check the user that is used for loggin to the repository?

please suggest if there is anything else that can be checked.
