RFC needs to activated always when the server is restarted after shutdown

Dear Experts,

Following is the problem we have encountered every time when there is shutdown in the Data Center. Most of the scenarios are designed as RFC - PI - SOAP. In this type of scenarios we always need to activate the RFC when the server is restarted. It does not start on it own after the restart of the server. Only when the RFC are activated the scenarios starts working. Can anybody help to find out what the problem is and how to fix it.

Thanks

Regards

sujit

Hi,

Is the RFC connected or integrated to ERP or other business suite systems? If yes, you need to ensure ERP system is up before you bring up PI.

Refer to note Note 730870 - FAQ XI 3.0/ PI 7.0/ PI 7.1/ PI 7.11/ PI 7.2/ 7.3 RFC Adapter for more info.

Hope it helps,
