ASN for SA release failing

HI,

I have a problem when creating ASN against SA release in SNC.

I get an error when publishing this ASN, Error:

ASN xxx, item 000001: Reference document number is invalid

ASN xxx item 000001 : SA release yyy / 00010 rejected; ASN creation not possible

Validation for val. prof. P001 (ICH, DELIVERY_PUBLISH, ITEM) ended with errors and warnings

THE SA exists in SNC, it was cifed and it shows in transporataion lane and also in ext.procurement relationships. What is the rootcause? why can't i publish ASNs for it?

Hi SK,

You are not able to publish  ASN because of:

SA confirmation is needed from the supplier is mandatory

or

SA has been rejected by supplier

or

SA schedule line is not having any due quantity.

Hi SK,

While creating the ASN, please check the PD item that you are selecting. This tab is right next to the SA number that you choose. It could so happen that there might be more than one item defined in the SA and accordingly, the item number may vary for the material for which you intend to create the ASN.
