Subcategory of a Divison?

Hi All,

How to map subcategory of material division in SAP SD. My client has four divisions and sub category for these divisions for example if the divisions are two wheeler, four wheeler etc then in two wheeler there sub categories like bike and moped.

So how to map this from SD point of view.

Try to use product hierarchy functionality instead of division. Division could be automotive, then in product hierarchy, you can have two wheeler, four wheeler and in sub level you can have bike and mopeds.

You can try it with Material groups-1,2,3,4,5..This will help

It dependd what exactly is the need for subdivision , you can use product hierarchy  also Material group fields on sales views.
