MOPZ_MSG_DELTA_CALC027 when using MAINT OPZ

Gurus,

I'm currently trying to patch my PI 7.11 SP09 dual stack system.

Current ABAP levels:

SAP_BASIS 711 0009 SAPKB71109

SAP_ABA 711 0009 SAPKA71109

PI_BASIS 711 0009 SAPK-71109INPIBASIS

ST-PI 2008_1_710 0007 SAPKITLRE7

SAP_BW 711 0009 SAPKW71109

ST-A/PI 01P_710 0000 -

My java stack is also at the SP09 level

OS - AIX 6.1

DB - 11.2.0.3

oracle client 11.2.0.3.0 V1

SAP JVM - 5.1.069

KERNEL - 720_EXT_REL #225

So I'm using my maint OPZ running on my Solman system.

Solman Patch level: (SOLMAN 7.1 SP06)

So right of the gate when using MAINT OPZ, I pick my solution, then my product version, then my PI dev system.

I then select "calculate file automatically"

I get this error after a few minutes:

Support package level 106 of SAP JVM 5.1 from system PID is unknown

CL_FREETEXT_MESSAGE

Support package level 106 of SAP JVM 5.1 from system PID is unknown

Message no. MOPZ_MSG_DELTA_CALC027

Diagnosis

You have installed the support package for the software component

version according to System Landscape (SMSY), but it is unknown in SAP

Product and Production Management System (PPMS).

Procedure

Please check whether you have installed the support package. If not,

please correct in System Landscape and then create a new Maintenance

Optimizer (MOPZ) transaction; if yes, please contact SAP support to

maintain the support package in PPMS.

I checked in the LMDB product system, technical system, ABAP,  in software component versions.

I noticed it thinks I have this:

SAP KERNEL 7.11 64-BIT UNICODEautomaticInstalled on InstanceAppServer 00 of PID on myhostname106106

But I know I don't have that kernel version.  I am certain I have 720_EXT_REL #225

Also, I checked in the Java technical system, in software component versions:

SAP JVM 5.1 automatic Installed on Instance Instance 00 of PID on myhostname 106 106

SAP KERNEL 7.11 64-BIT UNICODE automatic Installed on Instance Instance 00 of PID on myhostname 106 106

I'm certain this is not correct.

I'm wondering if it makes sense to delete these entries in the LMDB or are they coming from somewhere else?

Thanks,

NICK

Hello Nick,

I`m not shure if this note helps (containt solution for EPR MPZ calculation) but try to run resolution from the note for PID system

1593939 - Support Package level 1 of ST-A/PI 01N_700ECC from system XYZ is unknown

I saw that note too but I don't think it is relevant for my issue.

I'm thinking maybe my CR content needs to be updated, but I"m still not sure.

Thanks anyway,

NICK

Hi Nick,

I believe no harm deleting the entry in LMDB and see how it goes. If it doesn't work, you can just delete the entry in LMDB, SLD and fetch again the data supplier.

Perhaps you can:

1) check the sw component level in SLD, to unsure the level is up to date in SLD and being fetch daily.

2) check the sw component level in LMDB

3) investigate in LVSM

Just my 2 cents worth and hope it helps,

Cheers,

Always try to keep your CR Content up to date.

Afterwards, I would also make sure your saphostagent is updated so your outside discovery runs smoothly.

Furthermore follow Nicks' steps mentioned above.

I checked and our CR content is up to date as of early Jan 2013.  And our saphostagent is at the latest as of last week, #132.

I opened a message with SAP as I suspect this is some kind of bug.

I ended up just deleting the actual SAP JVM component listed in the LMDB for that product system.

But I also think if I had just completely removed the system from LMDB and re-added it, that would have worked too.
