SRM MDM Product Catalog:Products are not getting displayed

Hi Experts,

Need your help.

We have SAP SRM+MDM+NW CE Integration.

Below are the components information:

MDM JAVA API =  1000.710.0.8.276.20120508174800

MDM CONNECTOR = 1000.710.711.8.42.20121105183031

SRM MDM CAT =   1000.7.32.0.5.20121226053038

MDM SERVER = 7.1.08.196 Win64

EP_BASIS = 1000.7.31.4.0.20120516221100

Portal is 7.31 SP4

On creating shopping cart > we are using MDM Internal Catalog as a drop down option from Add Item button(please refer screen shot).

On selecting of this it opens a pop up displaying SRM-MDM Product Catalog screen, where I can see Supplier but not the products for it.

On checking the logs we noticed that the moment we select MDM Internal Catalog it throws error -

java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method com.sap.mdm.srmcat.uisearch.wdp.IPublicTaxonomyInterface$IModelElement.getModelInstance()

of an object returned from com.sap.mdm.srmcat.uisearch.wdp.IPublicTaxonomyInterface$IContextNode.currentModelElement()

Can anyone please help on this.

Hi Vivek,

Kindly check the data manager , by clicking the against the  category are you getting any products in it.

I hope the records are not entered according to the valid search criteria .

SAP suggested to apply note 1753440 - Activating SRM-MDM Catalog Enhancements which helped to resolve the SRM MDM catalog issue .
