Standard Project with WBS having multiple Plants

Dear All,

I have created a standard Project with Project Definition having Plant 123 and the first 5 WBS have plant 123 and next 5 WBS are with Plant 124.

Now if i create an operative project with reference to this standard Project all the 10 WBS elements gets created with Plant 123.

Why is this and how can we correct this??

Hi Jatinder,

Check your project profile also. Whether you have entered the plant in organization tab or not. It should be blank otherwise plant will be copied from there in your project structure.

Could you check if you have created a substitution from superior levels to low leves? You can review this in transaction GGB1 ---> Project System

Hi Jatinder,

I have created a test project with two plants (at WBS level) without any issue. I could see in project builder after save and re-open the project.

The default one from Project defintion and then changed the plant at other levels of WBS elements in standard WBS structure and saved.
