Hi,

Mention your Solman hostname, the FQDN. Easy way to find is login into OS and do a nslookup for your solman hostname. Yo can also go to SMICM --> Goto Hostname Buffer --> Display

or Goto --> Services to get port and hostname details.

Hi ,

you missed the correct info.

You can get this screen when you do MANAGED system configuration. so you need to maintain Managed system host name.

Even in the header tag it shows as managed system,

If your managed system is same as solman system, then all those parameters are automatically pop up with the read only mode

can you please once again check and get it clear, this is just for your information

Nice time!

Thanks

Jansi

Did you install an Wily Introscope Enterprise Manager?

If so, complete that section.

As for the DBACockpit connection.

It is advised to set it up, but not mandatory.

Depends on the scenario's you want to setup after you finish the Managed System Setup.

If you want to setup Technical Monitoring, you have to set it up.

Otherwise, you can uncheck the box.

Wily and DBACockpit are two seperate things, not dependant of one and other.

I would advise to make sure you have Wily installed before continuing with the Managed System Setup.

As for the DBA Cockpit, determine what you want with SolMan before setting it up.

However, it's not so hard....

David

Most times Wily is installed on the same host as SolMan..

On windows check the existence of folder C:/usr/sap/ccms (assuming all was left default).

On Unix check the existence of /usr/sap/ccms, and see what's inside.....

Thanks for clarifying,

Hi,

do you have Wily installed on your solution manager, if yes have you maintained the wily configuration on solman_setup-> basic configuration 3.1 configure CA wily infrastucture?

SAP Library - SAP Solution Manager

the load balacing host is your managed system Host name and Port would be HTTP service port, can get from SMICM-> goto-> services -> http port

Please check.

Thanks
