Hi. I understand that there is no limitation on the Character Lengths in a file or document name. However, most of our udc file will not publish. After some investigation we manage to publish if the file names are much shorter. Why is this? Is there a publishing setting somewhere? Is it an Explorer issue? The impact of this is that we will have to rename 3000 documents to shorter names. Advice desperately needed. Thanks!
In fact there is limitation for the length of the whole file (including the path like c:\uPerform\files\1\2\3\4 ... )
The whole length can't be longer than certain value... can't remember that.
