SAP R/3 installation on a desktop

Hi everyone,

I would like to install the R/3 application on a powerfull single desktop and use it as is or bulding a small network with 1 or 2 users. Is it possible and what could be my hardware requirement ?

What do you mean by R/3 application?

If you are talking about the technical platform (e.g. NetWeaver 2004(s)) only, you can find all the information you need

If you really mean a whole SAP R/3 system, the requirements are much more demanding and you probably want to take a look at the official installation guides available in OSS.

Regarding using it on the network; as soon as the machine that runs the system is on a network with a dedicated IP or DNS address, you can access it via SAP Logon and SAP GUI from other machines.

Dear Marcous,

You will need mimimum of 2 G.B RAM memory

160 Hard Disk Memory

P4 intel processor.

incase you wanted to put in Network then you need additional requirements.
