How to view messages in Adapter Engine

Hi Experts,

We are unable to view messages which are processed 2days before in adapter engine.
Is there any way to view those messages?
Is there any way to increase the archiving capability of Adapter Engine?
can any one please suggest.

Hi,

You have to configure next parameters in NWA:

- Asynchronous Messages: Service “XPI Adapter: XI”

• xiadapter.inbound.persistDuration.default (ms)
• xiadapter.outbound.persistDuration.default (ms)

- Synchronous Messages: Service “XPI Service Messaging System”

• messaging.syncMessageRemover.checkInterval
  (seg).

Hi Roberto,

We are having the defaults values for those parameters.

xiadapter.inbound.persistDuration.default= 86400000

xiadapter.inbound.timeout.default= 300000

messaging.syncMessageRemover.checkInterval = 60.

Please tell how to view the archived messages in AE.

Hi,

What type of messages do you want to view? Sync or async?

For sync messages, you have two more properties: messaging.syncMessageRemover.removeBody (just for test purposes) and messaging.syncMessageRemover.messageCount. More info in:

If you want to archive messages, not persist, review the "Archive Job" in "NWA -> PI Background Processing".
