two settlement rules for a WBS

Can I have two settlement rules for a WBS in a project?

One should trigger after other .The First settlement rule for WBS would settle it to a cost center and the next settlement rule would settle to another Final WBS(project) after the first project is closed.

Hi,

You can have multiple settlement rules and that is not an issue.

However you have to define percentage of distribution for each rule and maintained distribution rule numbers.

In your case, you can set the period from to period to (dates in CTR) in those two columns so that basing on the end date (period to) being maintained the settlement receivers, sysmte will not settle costs further more.

first let me know why you want settle cost to another reciever object while you have settle cost to CC??

Hi ,

The first project needs to be closed. The Costs from the first project need to be transferred to the second project after that. That is the business requirement.
