Create database failed in SAP Oralce cluster

Dear Expert!

I am installing database instance on first cluster node (windows x64 and oracle 11203 environment)

I have followed the same steps as mentioned in installation guide of SAP oracle.

1) configure MS cluster

2) install oracle software on both nodes ( follow guides to install)

3) installing Oracle fail safe software

4) Configure the First cluster Node

5) Creating the Oracle Fail safe manager group

6) database instance.......its stucked here in create database with following message

SAPINST found errors.
SAPINST The current process environment may be found in sapinst_ora_environment.log.

2013-01-27, 16:56:28 SAPINST ORACLE stop logging

Please advise ! how to solve above error!!!!

Hi Anwer,

Could you execute the "lsntctl status" command at the prompt and paste the result here?

My problem has been solved by defining the ora_dba group to prdadm. the process has been able to create database.
