Hi Guru’s

Our client using sap GUI version 7.2 patch level 10 or 12.

And it is same for all users.

Some of the users find some files like dev_rfc, and .trc file in their desktop. They delete it but it comes again and again.

I checked there is no session trace .sap GUI trace and log on trace activated in SAP GUI

I checked errorlog.gui but no luck. Need help to find from where these files are saved in users’ desktop.

Thanks

Umakant

Can you check your environment variables?  You didn't identify which Operaing System.  Anyway,

you cannot identify an obvious cause in the dev_rfc.trc log file or in the AuditExchange logs, it may be the because SAP GUI security messages are being displayed on the server while the analytic is running. If any SAP GUI message boxes are displayed during analytic processing, the security settings need to be adjusted. Information about the security changes to the SAP GUI application can be found in the SAP GUI for Windows 7.20 Security Guide. Contact ACL Technical Support for general information about the options for modifying SAP GUI security settings to work with your AuditExchange installation. You will need to work with your SAP Basis Administrator to determine the exact configuration required for your system.

You might try running core patch 14 plus updating any in use Add-On Patche.  Don't forget to look at updates for the SAP GUI kernel.(SAPSETUP 9.0 patch 26)

Hope this is beneficial.

Cheers
