Configuring SLD, Sofware component and Product....

Hi Experts,

Someone can please provide me the notes for configuring SLD, Software component and Product in XI.

I have read number post and documentation, but everywhere only theory and concepts are available, none of the discussion gives the step by step configuration of SLD, S/w product and component.

After following steps in the above post, i successfully configured sld, but was not able to see software component and product in enterprise repository..

Can any help me out with configuring Integration Server, Business System, SLD, s/w component and product.

It would be really great-full...

Hi  ,

After creation of product and software component in SLD .You need to manually import the software component into ESR .

>>but was not able to see software component and product in enterprise repository..

SWC wont come by default you need to manually import it from SLD.

For Importing SWC into ESR :

>>Right click on the Design objects tab in ESR and then it will open a new window for creating new object.

>>Select the "Software Component Version" under Work Areas.

>>Here you have 2 options like Local software component version and Import from from SLD.

>>  Select Import from from SLD
>>Click on the Display button

>>Select the Software Component Version from the list

>>Click on the Import Button.

For Importing Business systems into ID :

In Config > Communication Component> Business System... right click on "Business System", in the pop up select "Assign Business System" and just follow from there..you can import your B.S from sld to directory

Hi Akshay,

After creating the SLD objects do the SLD cache clear in ESR.

ESR->Environment->Clear SLD Cache.

As above said follow the steps to import the objects in to ESR.
