Hi, I am new to version 7 and I hope someone can help.
Since we updated to Bex V7 all new and converted
workbooks are linked to BExAnalyzer.xla, is this normal?
The problem is whenever anyone opens a report I have
created using the new version of Bex they get a message saying "This
workbook contains one of more links that cannot be updated", if I click on
"Edit Links" it says the source is BExAnalyzer.xla
So, is this normal.
All new reports created under v7 are linked to analyser.xla?

Thanks for the helpful info but I still don't know if we
should be getting the message about links to BExAnalyzer.xla.
BTW - I email some reports to non BEx users and because
they get the same warning they are concerned it may contain a virus.
Before I start looking deeper into this I just wanted to
know if it's normal.
