Hi!
If you switch the compiler from Flash to WebDynpro, the backendsystems are no longer shown if you choose Find Data.
Does anyone have a solution to solve that? It's no problem if you keep in mind that you have to switch back to Flash to get a BAPI, but at least annoying.
regards
Ralf-J.
Hi Ralf-J.,
with WebDynpro you can only use WebServices as data sources. Thus, when switching the compiler to webdynpro, only webservice systems are listed. The official SAP Note stating this fact is Note 950492
So you either have to use WebServices in you VC-WebDynpro Application or compile to Flash.
Best regards,
Benni

Hi Benjamin!
Thanks for your reply. I've just checked the note. It seems to be wrong about the Data Services.
If I start my model with the Flash compiler and switch to WebDynpro later , the described limitations of the UI appear, but the Data Services i've selected are still working fine. As I wrote, you just have to start with Flash and change the compiler to WebDynpro if the model is finished.

In Compiler options page, there is a checkbox for Masking unsupported features. By Unchecking it, you can see the all the systems, whether the compiler is set to Flash or Webdynpro.

But for some other connection types it also works, but it's not guaranteed.
