Need to install an "Upgrade/Update" version to a new machine.

I have a situation.  We purchased Crystal Reports well over a decade ago, when I believe the version number was 4.0 or 4.5.  Every version update we have purchased since then has been the upgrade version which has not been an issue until today.  I've had to do a clean install of Windows 8 on my development machine and need to install Crystal 8.5 developer Edition Upgrade, but of course, it requires the existence of an older version.  I am unable to locate any of the older CD's that are not also upgrade CD's.  I can provide the product key to prove I have a legitimate version if that is sufficient. Is there some way to work-around this obstacle to installation?   Thank you for any assistance.

Unfortunately / fortunately(?), this is really more of a query for sales. If you call sales at 866-681-3435, they should be able to help you out. Technical support is just not equipped with the tools needed for this.
