Webdynpro CSS developmet and integration to application

Hi Gurus,

I have created one application in webdynpro. Application is having around 20 pages. Now I need to generate and  integrate CSS file to the application. As most of the things like background images and text formatting can done through the CSS.

I am new to webdynpro, Please let me help to generate the CSS file and how to integrate to my webdynpro application.

I have gone through the SDN, but no one has provided best solutions to doing so.

These steps shows how to import\edit a theme by creating custom theme.

How do we apply them back in application server ?

Hi,

You need to upload the modified theme in the MIME repository. Check 'how to upload the modified theme' section in the below document.

Hi,

you cannot use CSS directly in Web Dynpro ABAP. Web Dynpro Provides a standard look and feel for business applications. You can use Theme editor to change look and feel to some extent and note that it works from Portal.

If you want to fully customize the lok and feel you need to create application in BSP, where you have control of html and css.

create custom themes: (steps in document)

Use the report BSP_UPDATE_MIMEREPOS to download the mime files from “/SAP/PUBLIC/BC/UR/NW5/THEMES/SAP_TRADESHOW” and modify them manually

not clear solution. I am new to it. Will you please provide me some basic steps to follow, like:

steps to download the theme

steps to edit the theme

steps to upload the customized theme

steps to integrate customized theme with WDA
