Help on UKMS-Valuemapping

Hi every one,

          In our scenario we are Using UKMS-Mapping.So can anyone expalin me the difference between the UKMS and Valuemapping.

Also what is the use of this UKMS and when to use this type of Mapping??Is there any difference in the usage of UKMS in PI 7.1 & pI 7.3.

We are using PI 7.3 single stack.

Hi,

It works the same way as value mapping works, but is used in cases where you have more value mapping tables to be used across.

The disadvantage of using the same for 1 or 2 value mapping streams is that you will have to maintained those table spaces.

Over to that if we are looking at a architecture of moving forward to single stack system this will not help us.
