Hi All,
I need a small clarification. We are using Seeburger Suite for all inbound/outbound EDI signals which is install on Remote Desktop and all BIC Mappings are deployed on it. Now the OS of that machine is corrupted and networking team is planning to reinstall the OS on it. My question is if the OS is re-install then the BIC Mapping (Seeburger Suite) will get effected and would it stop functioning? As of now we are not facing any issues.
Please advise.
Regards
Faisal.
Hi Abdul,
do I understand this correct ?
=> You are using the Seeburger EDI-Adapters on PI and a MappingDesigner on a separate system ?
Which Version of the PI-Adapters do you use ?

Well,
the mappings (which are the basis of the corresponding deploy-file) are also available on the file-system in the folder
\SEEBURGER_Mapping_Designer\user\bicmd\...
So if you have created some user-specific BIC-Mappings you should be able to retrieve them from there...just make sure that the directory, where the BIC MD is installed is still available with all its objects in case you need to make any modifications in future.

Stefan
