Authorization control on report s_alr_87013558 based on plant.

Hi Experts,

                   Can we have plant based authorization control on the report s_alr_87013558. I mean , plant must be the fulfilling criteria for executing such reports, can it be possible?

If NOT, then can we create a Z report (similar to that) using report painter and then assign plant as mandatory object to execute this report?

Please suggest.

Hi,

Do your current role set up has all plant access, then discuss with your Basis guy and take off whiever plant you do not want. To acheive your requirement, you have to set up single roles related to reports  based on plant specific and assgin it to individual users.

One more thing you have to keep in mind that, are those guys also have an access to Project Builder/Network related transactions either change/display?. if so such kind of plant based role might hamper access.

Please discuss this with Basis team and finalize.
